On October 22, the Valpo Surf Project hosted it’s 3rd Annual Silent Auction Fundraiser at the Crop to Cup Brew Bar in Gowanus, Brooklyn. The event was a great success with over 60 people in attendance from across the tri-state area who enjoyed food, drink, and a full display of diverse items up for silent auction.
We’d like to thank everyone who showed their support by coming to the event, Alexis Grossman and Crop to Cup for opening up their event space, the Mainbrook Tavern and Steuber family for donating libations, and all of the artists and businesses who donated work to the silent auction including Chris Burkard, Dion Agius, Joe Hodnicki, Brainstorm Print and Design, Matt Caputo, Kathryn Armstrong, Bird in a Hole Birdhouses, Eclectic Current CustomKicks, Jacob Bluestone, Chronicle Books, Spitzer’s Corner, Early Bird Foods & Co., Nunu Chocolates, and Wines of Chile.
Also thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to work as event staff including Lindsay Steuber, Tom Meehan, Brit Warakomski, Marsha Larned, Catalina de la Barra and Dan and Connor from Crop to Cup for helping set up.

El 22 de Octubre, Valpo Surf Project llevó a cabo la tercera edición del Evento “Remate NYC” para recaudar fondos , esto se realizó en Crop to Cup Brew Bar in Gowanus, Brooklyn. El evento fue un gran éxito con mas de 60 personas que asistieron para disfrutar una noche de arte, diversión y cooperación contando con una amplea variedad de articulos en el remate.
